3C4Life will develop an online platform for future STEM student teachers, young teaching professionals as well as experienced in-service STEM teachers
to increase the attractiveness of the STEM teaching profession in the partner countries (and abroad)
The three perspectives are:
The career of STEM teachers can be strenghtened en enriched by taking the challenge to choose new activities, both in and outside school. In ‘Career’ we give examples of teacher careers, mainly by small interviews (and some background information).
In many European secondary schools you have a team (or ‘department’) for every discipline, sometimes combined in multidisciplinary teams. On this school level we give examples on how to arrange rich collaborative practice that strengthens individual teachers and the group. Above school level we give examples of regional, national and international networks.
There are many opportunities to work on teachers competencies that empower teachers to work on innovative education and activities that are related to the STEM practice. A lot of inspiration can be found in meetings and materials.
